Dermal fillers are a great way to look younger as they can plump up your skin, smooth away wrinkles and fill out deep lines to restore your natural contours and give you a fresher appearance. 

They work by replacing the collagen lost due to natural ageing and skin damage from sun exposure, smoking, air pollution and stress. They are made from hyaluronic acid – a natural substance found in the body, which attracts water to the skin and plumps it up. Over time the amount of hyaluronic acid in our body depletes, causing fine lines to appear, particularly around the nose, mouth, lips, cheeks and forehead.

While Not recommended for pregnant women. Dermal Fillers when administered by professional clinicians is a safe procedure. You may experience some discomfort around the injection site which typically only lasts upto 48 hours.

Nose to mouth lines: ageing lines around the mouth that can be softened or eradicated with dermal fillers include the smoker or lipstick bleeding line and the wrinkle around the lips, drooping mouth corners, the Marionette line (going down from the mouth corners towards the chin), the nose to mouth lines (known as the nasolabial fold), and wrinkles at the lower cheek and chin.

Cheek and chin: either to improve definition over the cheek bones, lift the mid-face as part of a co-ordinated facial rejuvenation treatment plan, or restore lost facial volume in the cheeks and chin.

Frown line: dermal fillers can be effective at treating vertical glabellar lines if they are visible when you are not frowning. These lines become more prominent with age and treating them results in a more rested, approachable and fresher appearance.
