The laser hair removal treatment is a long term solution for the removal of unwanted hair in men and women. It can be used on any area of the body to safely remove hair . This medical procedure uses laser (an intense beam of light) to remove unwanted hair. During the process, a laser beam passes through the skin to the individual hair follicle. The intense heat from the laser damages the hair follicle, inhibiting future growth.
Laser Patch Test
During the consultation we will explain your treatment in great detail and devise a treatment plan for you. All test patches for laser need to be done 48 hours before treatment can commence. The test patch lasts for 6 weeks.
Your initial consultation and patch test is free and will last for 30 minutes, although we can allow more time if we require it – we want the best solution for you, so are flexible! We recommend at least 6 to 10 sessions to be taken on a 4-6 week appointment cycle, dependent on the individual.
We recommend you come to your appointment with visible growth and makeup free on facial areas. Your test patch is to check the sensitivity of your skin so you may be left with slight erythema – a redness on the skin surface. This should only last a few hours.
